Precise Helping to Respond to the COVID-19 Crisis

In an effort to offer meaningful assistance to the community in response to the COVID-19 crisis, Precise Software Solutions, Inc. (Precise), a small business operating out of Rockville, Maryland, has donated $15,000 to the Manna Food Center.

Manna is a local non-profit whose mission is to end hunger in Montgomery County, MD, through food distribution, education, and advocacy. The COVID-19 crisis has hit the service industry particularly hard, displacing many workers and creating more food insecurity in our community. In response, Manna is temporarily waiving income requirements to provide food to any Montgomery County resident impacted by the COVID-19 crisis. This policy change and the growing crisis has dramatically increased demand for Manna's services. Meanwhile, Manna has been experiencing a sharp decline in food donations from individuals and grocery stores as a result of the crisis, and they have had to resort to increased food purchasing to address the expanding gap between demand and their capacity to meet it.

Precise's Matching Donation Challenge

In addition to their initial $15,000 donation, Precise is offering a donation challenge wherein the company will match donations to Manna up to an additional $15,000. Precise encourages you to join this effort to support Manna and the good work they are doing to help address this growing crisis. Please add your donation to Manna and email Precise Operations (operations@precise-soft.com) to inform them of the amount so they can record it and process their matching donation.

Jackie DeCarlo, Manna's CEO, said, "I am deeply grateful to Precise for this generous donation and for offering this wonderful donation match challenge. Know that your support will be put to good use as we deliver food assistance to the needy in our community."
