This strategic partnership aims to modernize and sustain the Peace Corps’ global IT infrastructure, ensuring operational stability and enabling mission-critical functions for thousands of staff and volunteers around the world.
Under this contract, Precise will provide technical services in support of the Peace Corps’ Agency Customer Relationship Management (Agency CRM) platform, which is built on Microsoft Dynamics 365. The system plays a central role in managing all aspects of Peace Corps volunteer activities, from recruitment and onboarding to post-service support. The work will involve maintaining and enhancing custom-built applications, ensuring seamless data integration across multiple platforms, and delivering Tier 2 and Tier 3 technical support.
The Peace Corps operates in over 60 countries with approximately 2,900 employees and—under normal conditions—more than 7,000 Volunteers serving in sectors such as education, health, environment, and community economic development. The IT systems supported under this contract are essential to managing the full volunteer lifecycle, ensuring reliable data flows, and connecting mission-critical functions across the globe.
As part of the engagement, Precise will:
- Develop and maintain secure, scalable data integrations across internal Peace Corps systems using technologies such as Microsoft BizTalk, SQL Server, and APIs.
- Provide continuous support for CRM applications including VIDA, SIMS, VRG, the Volunteer Portal, and the Grants Portal.
- Ensure system performance and high availability for CRM-based workflows serving up to 10,000 global users.
- Collaborate with OCIO infrastructure and engineering teams to support modernization and operational excellence initiatives.
