Precise Software Solutions Inc. (Precise) is pleased to announce its latest contract award from the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to support the development of the Pacific Rim Information Management Enhancement (PRIME) system.
The PRIME system is designed to replace manual review of shipping paper manifests with an AI-augmented platform. Built in Amazon Web Services (AWS) cloud environment, the system will digitize documents, provide risk-based targeting, and give recommendations for product examination and sample collection.
“Precise is proud to support FDA’s Office of Import Operations in building a solution that strengthens the nation’s ability to detect and prevent the importation of unsafe products,” said Zhensen Huang, CEO of Precise. “By applying AI to streamline and modernize entry review, PRIME will help safeguard public health while enabling faster, more informed decisions at U.S. ports of entry.”
Once implemented, PRIME will have a database that supports FDA’s ability to identify fraudulent, misbranded, or adulterated products before they enter US Pacific Island Territories and U.S. commerce. The system is also expected to contribute to future enhancements across the FDA’s Office of Regulatory Affairs (ORA) by improving data integration.
This contract demonstrates Precise’s dedication to delivering innovative solutions that empower federal agencies to protect public health.
