Jul 23, 2024

Precise Software Solutions Inc. (Precise) has been awarded a new contract by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) Center for Information Technology (CIT) to conduct an Analysis of Alternatives (AoA) for the NIH Enterprise Ethics System (NEES).

Under this award, Precise will assess the current NEES application to recommend a system modernization approach to transition the system to a Cloud solution. This solution will aim to meet the needs of the NIH’s modernization goals.

The AoA will focus on evaluating solutions that optimize:

  • Cost of operations and maintenance
  • Long-term maintainability
  • User experience and performance
  • Alignment to the NIH Digital Strategy and other priorities shared by the NIH project team

“This award builds on our proven track record of helping federal agencies navigate complex IT decisions,” said Lisa Creason, Chief Growth and Strategy Officer. “We’re excited to partner with NIH on this effort to lay the groundwork for a more modern, efficient, and user-centered ethics system.”

The NEES modernization effort reflects NIH’s commitment to modernizing its systems to better serve its mission. It also highlights Precise’s role as a trusted partner in driving innovative solutions that enhance user experience for federal agencies.
