We are very excited that our Counterfeit Drug Detector made to the top 40 Finalist of 2020 ACT-IAC Igniting Innovation Award. In our “Box”, we have multiple wavelength lights and all-spectrum high definition camera, and a Google Tensorflow Process Unit (TPU). We developed our machine learning algorithm for multi-spectrum image recognition and counterfeit drug identification. Our algorithm is embedded in the TPU to achieve on-the-edge ML and near real time results. We also developed a mobile app to control the “Box” via bluetooth, and display the pictures and results. This is the second year in a row that we made to the finalist. Last year our PillSafe App made to the top 8 out of 200+ applications.
